The year of 2008 is the 30th anniversary of China’s reform and opening to foreign investment policy under Dengxiaoping’s leadership. The international capital investment in the past 30 years has been mostly concentrated in the China’s eastern and coastal areas, export—oriented industries.

How can China’s economy integrate with international capital and develop China’s western areas?
